Donald Stuart Carnahan,89, of Ft. Pierce, FL died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at his home after a brief illness.
Mr. Carnahan was born and lived in Syracuse, NY until 1985 when he retired to Ft. Pierce.
Mr. Carnahan was a sales representative for the Geo. A. Hormel & Co for 36 years.
He was a member of Community Church in Vero Beach, FL, the Masonic Lodge in Liverpool, NY, the SPEBSQSA, and volunteered at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lois; daughters, Mrs. Susan Jackson of Warren, PA and Mrs. Sally Clauss of West Falls, NY. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, E. Stuart & Harriet, and his sisters, Dorothy & Virginia.
A memorial service will be held Monday, January 31, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Community Church in Vero Beach.
