Donald G. Farrar, 71, of Spanish Lakes Fairways, Fort Pierce, FL died Thursday, August 11, 2011.
Mr. Farrar was born November 17, 1939 in Flint, MI and moved to Spanish Lakes Fairways six years ago from Homestead, FL.
He had been a photographer, real estate agent and insurance agent prior to his retirement. He was of the Nazarene faith and enjoyed woodworking.
His survivors include his wife of 51 years, Sharon D. Farrar of Spanish Lakes Fairways; daughters Deputy Julie Smith of Homestead and Rev. Nicole Farrar of Corbin, KY; a granddaughter Sydney Smith of Qatar; and eleven grandkittens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, 1280 27th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Services: A Life Celebration Service will begin at 6:30 PM, Monday, August 15, 2011 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach with Pastor Hugh King officiating.
