Donald Glore
MELBOURNE, FL Donald
Glore, 55, of Melbourne, Florida,
passed away surrounded by
close friends and family on
November 28, 2010.
Donald was born in Macon,
Georgia, the youngest child of
Edgar and
the late
Selma Glore.
He graduated
from
Abraham
Baldwin
Agricultural
College in
Tifton, GA
with a
degree in
Forestry
and Wildlife
and enlisted in the U. S. Air
Force in 1977 and served for 20
years. After his retirement
from the Air Force, Donald
worked as the Receiving
Department Manager for Lowes
Home Improvement Stores in
Melbourne, Rockledge and
Indian Harbor Beach for 10
years.
Known as Georgia Boy to
his fishing buddies, Donald was
an avid fisherman and active
member of the Patrick Bass
Anglers Bass Club. He received
Bass Angler of the Year in 1996
and 2005 and to Donald there
was no such thing as a bad day
of fishing. He was also an
enthusiastic NASCAR fan. One
of his favorite memories was a
trip to the Charlotte Motor
Speedway to support his favorite
driver, Jimmie Johnson.
He was married to Sheryl
Glore and they celebrated their
20th wedding anniversary in
Hawaii this year. Donald is survived
by his sister, Peggy
Mathews and brother-in-law
Frank from GA; son Jason
Glore, his wife Misty and
grandchildren Austin and Kinsley
from, NC; and daughter
Christina Glore from Melbourne.
In lieu of flowers, the family
is requesting that donations be
made to The Vitas Hospice

A memorial service will be
held on Friday, December 3, at
11:00 A.M. at Emmanuel United
Methodist Church in Melbourne.
A graveside service
will be held in Macon on
December 9 at 10:00 at Glenhaven
Gardens on Houston Rd.
