Donald Carl Gust, 90, died December 9, 2016 at Abbie Jean Russell Care Center, Ft. Pierce. He was born in Chicago Heights, Ill on March 25, 1926, and lived in Vero Beach since 2006, coming from New Port Richey, Florida.

Before retiring he was a building contractor owning and operating his own business. Donald's hobby was restoring old classic cars, and he attended the First United Methodist Church of Vero Beach, FL.

Survivors include his daughters, Linda Gust and Donna (Greg) Kingsley both of Vero Beach, and Debra (Harold) Martin of Avila Beach, Calif. He is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 25, 2017 followed by a Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors at 2:00 PM at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
