Donald Douglas Mccollam's Obituary
Douglas Donald McCollam, 58, of Vero Beach passed away January 10, 2013 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. McCollam was born February 28, 1954 in Davenport, IA. He had been a resident of Vero Beach for four years, coming from Iowa.
He served in the United States Navy aboard a nuclear submarine.
Prior to his retirement he managed Liberty Lanes Bowling Center in West Liberty, IA, and later worked as a machinist for 20 years.
Survivors include his son, McKenzie McCollam of West Liberty, IA; father, James H. McCollam of Vero Beach; sisters, Connie J. Shumate and Patricia J. Bowser both of Vero Beach.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara M. McCollam.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
