Donald McCormick, 78, of Sebastian, FL died after an extended illness Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the Sebastian River Medical Center.
Mr. McCormick was born October 4, 1931 in Newark, DE and moved to Sebastian 20 years ago from Cecil County, MD.
He was the Superintendent at Henkels & McCoy in Bluebell, PA and owner of D&J General Contractors in Cecil County. Mr. McCormick was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army, a lifetime member of the Moose, a member of the Malabar Country Club and the Sebastian Golf Course.
Survivors include his wife Jeanne, sons Ricky, Rodney and Herman, daughter Deborah, brothers James, Charles, Robert and Harry, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his sisters Ruth Anne and Dorie and brother John.
Services: A memorial service will be held 11:30 AM, Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at the Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian, FL. Reception and Moose services 1:30 - 4:30 PM at the Moose Lodge in Micco, FL.
