Donald Cooney, Sr.
Donald Cooney, Sr., 76, of Melbourne, Fl died Thursday December 3, 2008 at Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne, Fl.
He was born September 6, 1932 in Providence, Rhode, Island and had been a resident of Melbourne for 15 years. Prior to retirement he had been employed for 15 years by Sealol as a machinist and was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of A.B.A.T.E. and was an avid motorcyclist
He is survived by daughter, Katheryn Stopyro of Marcellus, NY; son, Donald Cooney, Jr. Of Wadington, NY; stepdaughters, Lynnanne Vincent of Melbourne, Fl and Cynthia Tripp of Palm Bay, fl., brother, Francis Cooney, Pensacola, Fl; and a sister, Catherine Hinhares of Providence, Rhode Island. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara, September 10, 2008, his sons William, Henry, and Robert and hisdaughter, Victoria.
