Donna J. Ballard, 75, of Vero Beach, FL died Sunday, December 4, 2011 at her home.

Mrs. Ballard was born February 9, 1936 in Hammond, IN and moved to Vero Beach in 1969 from Indianapolis, IN.

She and her husband had owned thirteen McDonalds Restaurants before their retirement.

Her survivors include her two daughters Sharon (Tommy) Ellis of Vero Beach and Barbara Morey of Vero Beach; a sister Sandra Geissendorfer of Schererville, IN; a brother Bill Stevens of Highland, IN; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Ballard and a brother Kenny Stevens.

Services: The family will receive friends 4-7 PM, Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. Her funeral service celebrating her life will begin at 11 AM, Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Ft. Pierce, FL.
