Doris Y. Clayton, 79, of Vero Beach, FL died Monday, April 6, 2009 at Palm Garden of Vero Beach.
Mrs. Clayton was born January 26, 1930 in Shamrock, OK and moved to Vero Beach in 1981 from Villa Ridge, MO.
She was a homemaker and a protestant.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Gerald L. Clayton of Vero Beach; son James Tucker of Berkeley, CA; and sister Ava Ward of Texarkana, AR.
Services: At the request of the family there will be no services.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Parkinson Association of Indian River County, 2501 27th Avenue, Suite A-8, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach, Florida. Condolences may be sent through www.seawindsfh.com/obit.php
