Doris Jaeggi Parmentier passed away June 14, 2024 in Vero Beach, Florida. She was survived by her two daughters, Lucille Church of Florida and Denise Throntveit of Tennessee; (Son, Gary Beebe, deceased 1998); Her step-children: Gene M., Cheryl, Greg, Cindy, Glen, Charmaine and all of their families in Michigan.

She was born in Paterson, New Jersey on August 23, 1933.  She grew up in Miami, graduated High School and worked in her father's hobby shop.

She married and moved to Michigan where she had three children.  During this time she was active in the PTA, Girl Scouts, and The League of Women Voters and served as Chairman on Election Boards. She was employed by Sears for 10 years in customer service. She re-married in 1969 to Gene S. Parmentier and they blended a family of his six children and her three.  She and Gene moved to Cape Coral, Florida in 1986 and eventually settled in Vero Beach, Florida. Her last employment was with GHO Homes for 13 years, and also became a volunteer at Indian River Medical Center in the Auxiliary department.  With Gene's passing, she was widowed in July of 2019.

Doris' arrangements were executed by Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach, Florida. Daughter, Lucille, is entrusted in carrying out Doris' final wishes.

Doris requests contributions be made to Indian River Hospice in her name if you desire.
