Obit: Dorothy A. Ciriclio
Dorothy A. Ciriclio, 76, of Vero Beach, FL died Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Ciriclio was born July 4, 1934 in Mt. Vernon, NY. She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1976, coming from Shrub Oak, NY.
She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
She worked as a meter maid in White Plains, NY and later went on to own the Peppermint Room Restaurant in Shrub Oak, NY. She served in nursing care in New York and Florida as a nurses aid.
Her survivors include her daughters, Shannon Stough of Sarasota, FL, Donna Reyes-Chance of South Carolina; sons, Dominic Ciriclio of Vero Beach, FL, Thomas Ciriclio of Tennessee, Robert Ciriclio of Fellsmere, FL and Michael Ciriclio of Malone, FL; daughters Mary Sapp and Dorothy Cominsky both of Vero Beach, FL; brother, William Maguire of Mahopac, NY and sister, Carol Johnson. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dominic Ciriclio, and her sister Geraldine Luraschi.
Services: The family will receive friends 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, Sunday, February 20, 2011. Mass will be celebrated 10 AM, Monday, February 21, 2011 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
