Dorothy Mae Cowden, 84, of Vero Beach FL, passed away January 1 ^st , 2019 at the VNA Hospice House.

Born February 7 ^th , 1934, in New London WI. Dorothy parents were John and Dorothy Moder.  Dorothy lived in Wisconsin for 66 years before moving from Marion WI to Vero Beach FL.

Dorothy was a Lutheran, an avid reader, Scrabble player and conversationalist.

Dorothy joins her husband Bill Cowden, daughter Cindy McCambridge, son Jeff Cowden, brother Tom Moder and sister Mary Desmond.   Dorothy leaves three children, Jon (& Gail) Cowden of Embarrass WI, Ellie (& Steve) Marcel of White City FL and Patti (& Mark) Hawthorne of Apache Junction, AZ, two brothers, John and Duane Moder and sister Micky Meyers, along with twenty grand, great and great-great grandchildren.
