Dorothy M. Lada, 81 of Sebastian, Fl died January 22, 2010 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Lada was born April 6, 1926 in South Amboy, NJ and moved to Sebastian 20 years ago from Garden Grove, CA.
She was a retired Registered Nurse from Fountain Valley High School in CA and a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and active in the Womens Guild, she was a volunteer at Sebastian River Medical Center and a member of the Retired Nurses Association of Indian River County.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years Frank E Lada; a son Stephen Lada of Sebastian; a daughter Therese Lada of Englewood, CA; a sister, Constance Hollo of Manchester, NJ; one grandson Chad and 2 nieces.
Friends may call from 6-8PM on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Seawinds Funeral Home, Sebastian, FL, with a wake service to be held at 7:00 PM; A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church with a reception to follow in the church hall. Inurnment will be at a later date at Sebastian Cemetery.
