Dorothy L. Wallace, age 88, died Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at the Okeechobee Health Care Facility. She had been a resident of Okeechobee since 1965.
She enjoyed housekeeping, cooking, and being a mother to everyone.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel and five brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include daughters, Annie (Edward) Bethel of Plant City, Sandra Ezelle of Kissimmee, Norma (Michael) Entry of Okeechobee; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Boyd of Ft. Myers and Lucy (Paul) Baughman of Merrill, Wisconsin.
Visiting hours will be at the Buxton-Seawinds Funeral Home on Sunday, May 15, 2011, from 4 until 6 p.m. with the funeral service on Monday, May 16, 2011, at 10:00 a.m.
