Douglas T. Quinn, 63 of Barefoot Bay, died Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL.
He was born July 23, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Barefoot Bay 7 years ago from Long Island, NY.
Douglas was a union carpenter for the International Brotherhood of Carpenters in New York, he was a member of the American Legion in New York and the Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include his wife of 7 years, Susan Quinn of Barefoot Bay, FL; daughter, Christine Britland of Charlotte, NC, daughter, Jennifer Miller of Nappanee, IN, son, Brian Quinn of Monroe, NC, daughter, Christina Denk of Barefoot Bay, FL and daughter, Megan Quinn of Barefoot Bay, FL; sister, Cathy Velte of Deer Park, NY; brother, Raymond Quinn of Monroe, NY and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 2701 N Australian Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407 or the American Cancer Society, 3375 20th Street, Suite 100, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
