Earl H. Crittenden, 96, of Fort Pierce, FL died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Abbiejean Russell Care Center, in Fort Pierce, FL. Mr. Crittenden was born on May 22, 1915 in Phelps, NY. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and graduated from the University of Rochester. He has been a resident of Fort Pierce, FL since 1955 coming from Phelps, NY. He was a guidance counselor and owned a sailboat business.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Crittenden. His survivors include daughters, Susan Dickerson of Seneca, SC, Carol Crittenden of Sebastian, FL, Linda Cooper of Round Rock, TX and Constance Norris of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Ross Crittenden of Fort Pierce, FL and Warren Crittenden of Fort Pierce, FL; twelve grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Services: A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm on Friday, June 17, 2011 at the Colonnades Club House at South Beach, Fort Pierce, with Mr. Crittendens grandson, Keith Dickerson presiding. The family will host a reception following the service at the Norris residence.
