Eddie Lee Mcgriff's Obituary
Eddie Lee McGriff, 91, of Vero Beach died on Monday, November 7, 2011 at Consulate Health Care in Vero Beach.
Mr. McGriff was born August 11, 1920 in Quincy, FL. He had been a resident of Vero Beach since the 1940s, coming from the place of his birth.
Prior to his retirement he worked as a courier for Citrus Bank.
He was a parishioner at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Donald Phillips; brother, Ulysses McGriff; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorethea; parents, Milo and Mary; brothers, Paul James (PJ), Harry, James; sisters, Mattie Ruth Glinton and Mary Joiner.
A visitation will be held from 5-7PM on Friday, November 11, 2011 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Gifford. A funeral service will be held at the church on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Gifford Cemetery.
