Edith Stephanz's Obituary
Edith Brownwen Stephanz, 81, died Monday, October 4, 2010 at Palm Garden Nursing Home of Vero Beach.
Mrs. Stephanz was born on September 15, 1929 in Lancashire, England. She has been a resident of Ft. Pierce for nine years, coming from Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Mrs. Stephanz was an extensive world traveler, an accomplished semi-professional tennis player and sports enthusiast. She was also a pet lover and spent much of her time volunteering with the Humane Society.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ken; sons, Mark Stephanz of Albuquerque, NM, John Towson of Tampa, FL; daughters, Bronwyn Towson-Stephanz of Albuquerque, NM, Susan Stephanz of Shenandoah, VA. Mrs. Stephanz is also survived by four grandchildren.
Services: No services are planned at this time.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Lucie County Humane Society at PO Box 3661, Ft. Pierce, FL 34948.
