Edna E. Hagan, age 85, died Dec. 11, 2010, at Raulerson Hospital. Born in Sink Creek, Fla., she had been a resident of Okeechobee since 1962. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she was a retired kindergarten teacher. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a nineteen year cancer survivor.
She was an avid, big, HUGE, FSU Seminole fan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hagan and sister, Lonie Badon.
Survivors include her son, Donnie (Linda) Hagan of Jamestown, Tenn.; daughter, Diane Hagan of Okeechobee; grandsons, Donald (Jeannie) Hagan of Okeechobee, Brian (Sharonna) Hagan of Okeechobee; four great-grandchildren; sister, Poca Mae (Dan) Hatcher of Bonifay, Fla.; and nephews, George (Claire) Badon of Franklin, Tenn., and Jason (Ayshia) Hatcher of Bonifay, Fla.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Dec. 16, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Buxton-Seawinds Chapel at Abundant Blessings Church with a service following at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made, in her name, to Hospice of Okeechobee, P. O. Box 1548, Okeechobee, Florida 34973.
