Edna A. Neuhauser, age 85, passed away at VNA Hospice House of Indian River County with her family at her side, on June 13, 2016, after a long and difficult illness. She was born in Zacapa, Guatemala, Central America to Santiago Quinonez D. and her beloved mother, Carmen Diaz. There, she went to college and received a degree in education and taught school for a short period, until she met and married her first husband, American serviceman, James (Dick) R. Tudor. Together they bore three children in this marriage, Carmen, Gerald, and Richard. The family lived in various countries in Central and South America before returning to the U.S. and lived in Melbourne Beach and Ft. Pierce, until their marriage ended after 13 years. Later, Edna relocated to Vero Beach.

Edna worked for many years for Piper Aircraft, assembling aircraft wiring harnesses and other electrical components. Edna remarried on September 29, 1990 to Ernest P. Neuhauser, and was a devoted wife until he passed away in 2005. She also worked as a dental assistant for a local dentist, before retiring. She loved gardening and being with her grandchildren and family and she was a wonderful cook and devoted mother and grandmother. Edna was a fun loving spirit and always young at heart. She kept her petite, youthful appearance and her sense of humor was second to none. Edna loved to dabble in folk art as a hobby, painting bird houses with whimsical figures and decorating boxes with seashells. Through many trials and tribulations she remained strong until the end, valuing every last breath that God gave her and showing great courage. She shall "dwell in the house of the Lord, forever."

Edna was also predeceased by her beautiful twin sister, Sonia Quinonez Diaz de Lam; and the father of her children, James R. Tudor. Surviving Edna are her children, Carmen and husband John Garceau of Vero Beach, Gerald Tudor and Lori Nelson of Vero Beach, and Richard Tudor and close friend, Rick Dorta of Rockville, MD; grandchildren, Brooke Schweim and husband David, Brandon Garceau and wife Tiffany Encarnacion, and Kaden Arendas; and one great granddaughter, Natalie Schweim. She is also survived by a large loving extended Guatemala family of brothers, Roberto Quinonez Diaz and Emilio "Milito" Hernandez Diaz; sister, Ana Maria Hernandez Diaz; brother-in-law Julio Lam, and numerous nephews and nieces whom she adored and had fun times with.

As per Edna's wishes, a private burial with immediate family will be held at a future date.
