Edward F. Dolan, 78, of Sebastian, FL died Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL.
Mr. Dolan was born October 1, 1931 in Bronx, NY and moved to Sebastian 2 years ago from Hampstead, NC.
He was a Police Officer with the NYC Police Department for 20 years and served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Dolan was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and had been an Altar boy at St Johns in Bronx, NY.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Marie Dolan of Sebastian, sons Edward Dolan, Jr. of Hopewell Junction, NY, Rudy Ortiz of Deerfield Beach, FL and Gregory Ortiz of Fuquay-Varina, NC, daughter Mattie Ann Skidmore of Raleigh, NC, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services: Visitation 2-5 PM, Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian with a prayer service at 4:30 PM.
