Edward John Glinski was born January 4, 1929 in the Williamsburg part of Brooklyn, New York. He grew up in the city, but always dreamed of getting out of Williamsburg and becoming a great success. As a young man of 24, he ventured out and found the love of his life, Hazel Stewart. Thanks to his salesmanship he was able to win over Hazel and they were married April 18, 1954. Not long after their marriage, their first son was born in 1956. The next two boys were born in September of 1957 and 1958.

While settling in New Jersey, Eddie began his advertising career at Newberry's. After creating the circulars for several years, Eddie moved to advertising for the Red Bank Register. With his artistic abilities and his natural easy-going personality, he was able to find success in advertising. This success led to the opening of his own ad agency, Ed Glinski Advertising. As his business grew, so did his family. By 1975, his family had grown to 6 children, Steven, Rick, Eddie, Lori, Michael, and Mark.

Beyond advertising, Eddie's passion was always fishing. He loved to be by the ocean, or in a boat. His love for the ocean and warmer climates, led him to the Florida Keys. In 1976, the Glinski family moved from Wall, New Jersey to Tavernier, Florida. While living in the Keys, Eddie and Hazel worked to create a enjoyable life for their family. For years Eddie was able to fish, enjoy his hobbies, and spend time with friends & family,

As the children grew older and moved away, Ed and Hazel decided to move to Vero Beach, Florida in 1993. Eddie spent his remaining years with Hazel in the Garden Grove community. In his leisure time, he built model ships, model foreign cars, and traveling with Hazel around the world.

Edward Glinski is survived by his wife Hazel Glinski, and their six children, Steven Glinski of Conyers, GA., Rick Glinski of Crawford, GA., Ed Glinski of Brandon, FL, Lori Seavey of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Michael Glinski of Aleaxandria, VA, and Mark Glinski of Wichita, KS. As well as 14 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
