Edward Philip Keegan 71, died May 29, 2009, in Fort Pierce, FL under Hospice Care.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York and lived in Fort Pierce for nine years, coming from Alden, New York.
He served in the Navy from 1959 to 1963. He was a retired Erie County, New York Corrections Officer.
He was an avid fisherman, a faithful Dodgers fan, and an animated poker player.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Mary (Nene) Knab Keegan of Fort Pierce, sons, Steven Keegan (Connie) of Monroe, NC, and Aaron (Penny) Keegan of Gilbert, AZ; daughter Christine Keegan Bradford (John) of Sarasota, FL; sister Marge Keegan Jackson; and six grandchildren, Keegan, Hannah, Levi, Quinn, Zach, and Ryan.

Services: A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at the Spanish Lakes Country Club Villages club house, Fort Pierce, FL.
