Obit: Edward John Larson
Edward John Larson, 80, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, March 28, 2008 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. Larson was born July 9, 1927 in Ashtabula, OH and moved to Vero Beach in 1961 from Youngstown, OH.
Prior to his retirement he was a supervisor for Southern Bell and had worked for Ohio Bell. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and former member of the Exchange Club of Vero Beach. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the Merchant Marines and the Korean War serving in the Signal Corp.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years Betty Ann Larson of Vero Beach; daughter Sharen Madson of Okauchee, WI; son John E. Larson of Scottsdale, AZ; sister June Anderson of Youngstown, OH; brother Ray Larson of Winter Haven, FL and four grandchildren.
Services: The family will receive friends 6-8 PM, Sunday, March 30, 2008 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A funeral service will be celebrated 2 PM, Monday, March 31, 2008 at Grace Lutheran Church in Vero Beach with Pastor Matthew Luttman officiating.
