Edward C. Walkiewicz's Obituary
Edward C. Walkiewicz, Sr., 91, of Vero Beach passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Indian River Medical Center.
Mr. Walkiewicz was born February 2, 1921 in Irvington, NJ. He had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1996, coming from Martinsville, NJ and Boca Raton.
He served in the United States Army during WWII as a 1st Sergeant.
Prior to his retirement he owned the ConWeimar Transportation Company and the White Eagle Bottling Company.
Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Angela J. Walkiewicz; son Edward J. Walkiewicz of Stanton, NJ; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time.
