Elaine Marilyn Beck, 89, of Sebastian, Florida passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.

She was born on September 24, 1923 in Chicago, IL to Lee and Mae Kuss. After graduation from high school, she married Robert Delbol. They later divorced.

She graduated from Pan American Airways flight attendant school and traveled the world as a flight attendant for Pan Am. In 1960, she married Warren Franklin and lived in Sweden, Germany and in Greenlawn, New York, before her husband's death in 1974. In 1980 she married Robert Beck in Greenlawn and in 1983, moved to Barefoot Bay, Florida. From 1990 to 2003, she also lived during the summer months in Cave Junction, Oregon.

Mrs. Beck was raised as a Christian Scientist.

Survivors include her sons, Val Franklin of Greenlawn, NY, Lance Franklin of Laurel Hollow, NY and Graig Delbol of Cave Junction, OR; five grandchildren and five nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert Beck of Barefoot Bay and her sister Dorothy Smith of Lake Wildwood, Calif.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later day in New York.
