Elaine Workman Butler's Obituary
Elaine Workman Butler, 92 of Vero Beach, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 at VNA Hospice House.
She was born on April 28, 1922 in New York, NY, the daughter of the late William and Alice Workman. A graduate of Barry University in Miami, FL with a BA, she went on to teach third grade for 20 years in the public school system in Miami Dade County until her retirement. In 1979, she relocated to Vero Beach and became a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Survivors include her sons, Thomas (Rosemary) Lund of Vero Beach, FL and Roger (Rosemarie) Lund of Miami, FL; grandchildren Thomas Lund II of Vero Beach, Carrie (Bruce) Gammell of Vero Beach and Victoria (Dave McLaughlin) Lund of Vero Beach; great granddaughter, Julianna Gammell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 24, 2015 at Holy Cross Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a charity of one's choice or VNA Hospice House, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
