Eleanor Cranson's Obituary
Eleanor L. Cranson, 100, passed away March 31, 2016 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL.
She was born September 22, 1915 in Ashfield, MA to the late Michael and Mary Pollen. Mrs. Cranson had been a resident of Vero Beach since 2002, coming from Greenfield, MA.
She raised her family in Ashfield where she held various jobs and later retired from the United States Postal Service. Mrs. Cranson was an avid golfer and a former member of the Ashfield Golf Club and Worthington Golf Club, Worthington, MA.
She leaves her memories to be cherished by her children, Fay Lemee of Vero Beach, Joyce Baker of Vero Beach, Douglas (Muriel) Cranson of Ashfield and Richard Cranson of Ashfield; sister, Gertrude Agrillo of Concord, MA; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard Cranson in 1983 as well as 2 brothers and a sister.
A private graveside service will be held at Plain Cemetery in Ashfield at a later date.
