Eleanor Ferrara, 96, of Vero Beach, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Indian River Medical Center.
She was born August 30, 1914 in Washington, PA. She had been a resident of Vero Beach for 21 years coming from Stamford, CT.
She was a retired seamstress, and a member of Saint Helens Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her son, Gary Ferrara of Vero Beach; daughter, Dorothy Scully of Woodbury, CT; six grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Carmine Ferrara.
Services: A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
