Eleanor Gill passed peacefully on December 27, 2019. Eleanor was a wonderful person who constantly tried to enrich the world in which she lived. At the age of 17 in 1944 with her brother in the Army in Europe, she left school to work as an operator in NY City to help support the family. During her career with AT&T she work as a manager in the payroll department and finally as a director of computational payroll, it was quite an accomplishment for a woman of the 40's. 50's and 60's. In the 1970 at the Emanuel Lutheran Church Eleanor established and was director of the Sunday school that involved more than 200 children and 20 men and women who were teachers and helpers. Eleanor married late in life to Robert Gill. They were very happy and traveled extensively.
