Eleanor M. James, 81, of Fort Pierce, FL died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 6, 2009.
Mrs. James was born September 25, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY and had moved to Pompano Beach, FL in 1990 from Williston Park, NY be fore moving to Fort Pierce eight years ago.
Prior to her retirement in1990 she had worked as a Bank Branch Manager in Williston Park, Long Island, NY. She was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ft. Pierce.
Survivors include her partner Val Cernak of Fort Pierce, son Donald L. James of Commack, NY,
son and daughter-in-law Glenn and Sue Carnak of Kelowna, British Columbia, daughter and son-in-law Valerie and Richard Guertin of Ottawa, Ontario, son Jack Cernak of Toronto, Ontario, son and daughter-in-law David and Lori Hann of Oxford Mills, Ontario, Craig Cernak of Ashton, Ontario, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband Donald B. James and son Stephen James.
