Eleanor P. Mooney, age 68, of Okeechobee, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at her residence. She had been a resident of Okeechobee for a year having relocated from Vermont.
Her hobbies included sewing, knitting, crocheting, horror movies, playing games, spending time on the computer, and walking her dog Tipper.
She is survived by sons, Stephen Tourigny of Okeechobee, Thomas Tourigny of California; stepson, Greg Peck of Okeechobee; daughters, Sherri LaFleur of St. Petersburg, Melinda Atsavinh of Port St. Lucie; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, William LaFleur of Georgia, Charlie LaFleur of New Hampshire; sisters, Harriett Riddle of Keystone Heights, Florida, Mary Delaripa of Tampa, and Joyce Daigneault of Deltona, Florida.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 16, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. with a service following at 4:00 p.m. at the Buxton-Seawinds Chapel at Abundant Blessings Church.
