Elizabeth "Liz" Anne Hassell, is survived by her loving husband of more than 30 years, Richard "RC" Hassell Jr.   She leaves behind her 3 children, John L. English, Christopher E. English and Donna Jean English, Grandchildren John English III, Jessica Laing, Dylan Ahearn and Devin English along with 6 Great Grand Children.

Liz was born and raised in Kentucky, she made her way to Florida to raise her family where after meeting and marrying the love of her life she called Vero Beach home for over 30 years.

Liz, was laid off from Grumman and went back to school to earn her Bachelor degree in 1997.  Liz is also remembered as a teacher, who worked determinedly with special-ed children that were incarcerated at the Indian River Correctional Institute and retired for good in 2013.

Liz was a great cook who loved being surrounded by her Family at the Holidays and Special Occasions.  She will be remembered by many for her amazing, deviled eggs and the "pink stuff" which was one of her favorite Holiday side dishes.

Liz had a generous giving heart and soul; her family and close friends were her whole world.  She also has a great love for large dogs, Rottweilers in particular.

Liz was a faithful and devoted follower of our Lord, Jesus Christ, loved to garden, cruise, enjoy time with her friends, read, on-line shop and help with her grandchildren's homework.

Elizbeth "Liz" Hassell will be remembered as a Brave, Courageous, Fighter who never gave up. She did things on her "own" terms from her beginning to end.  She will be greatly missed and forever loved.
