Sunday October 3rd, Betty Laffey passed away, after her courageous battle with Alzheimers.
Betty was born on February 10, 1931 in Washington, DC and grew up in Bethesda, MD. She attended Colby College in Waterville, ME. While attending College she met her husband, George B. Laffey, Jr. Together they directed a girls Summer Camp, Camp Avalon.
Betty is survived by her loving husband, of 57 years, George B. Laffey, JR., of Vero Beach; son Keith Laffey of Chatham, MA; daughter Donna Laffey Govoni of Spartanburg, SC. She was also blessed with 4 grandchildren.
She was preceded by her son Glenn Laffey.
Services: No services are planned at this time.
