Elizabeth Tootie Ann Kinney, age 75, died peacefully at her home after a lengthy illness on Friday, May 20, 2011. Born February 3, 1926, in Flint, Michigan, she was a resident of Okeechobee since 1990. She was a member of the Womans Auxiliary of VFW Post 10539.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothea Croft Hutchinson. Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, C. William Bill; sons, Steve (Nancy) Kinney of Burlington, MI; William (Gwen) Kinney of Elgin, Texas, David (Joyce) Kinney of Belton, Texas; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2011, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at VFW Post 10539, 3912 Highway 441 S.E., Okeechobee, Fla.
