Ellaree Thompson, 94, of Vero Beach, FL, died Sunday, August 23, 2009 at Palm Garden of Vero Beach.
Mrs. Thompson was born July 25, 1915 in Quay, Winter Beach, FL and was a lifelong resident of Indian River County.
Prior to her retirement she had been a Citrus Nursery Worker for Greenes Citrus Management in Indian River County and was a member of Kings Baptist Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her sons Bill Thompson of Mobile, AL, Richard Thompson of Vero Beach, Robert Thompson of Vero Beach, Larry Thompson of Portland, OR and Bruce Thompson of Vero Beach; daughters Joanne Harrison of Vero Beach and Sivey Rouse of Morristown, TN; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Thomas C. Thompson and daughters Jean Renniger and Angela Thompson.
Services: The family will receive friends 6-8 PM, Thursday, August 27, 2009 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A life celebration service will take place at 2 PM, Friday, August 28, 2009 at the funeral home with Pastor Buddy Tipton of Central Assembly of God, Vero Beach officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
