Elmer LaMura, 82, of Okeechobee died Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at his home.
He was born November 24, 1928 in Jersey City, New Jersey. He has been a resident of the area for two years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nicola and Rosa LaMura; and brother, Samuel LaMura.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Lillian LaMura; sons, Nicholas, Michael, Vincent, Robert, and Stephen.
Private family services are planned for a later date.
