Elsie S. Beckner, 92, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Beckner was born December 2, 1917 in New York, NY and moved to Vero Beach in 2004 from Rocky Point, NY.
She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her daughters Geraldine B. McGowan of Fayettville, NC, Carol Ann Carroll of Vero Beach and Patricia Ann Burrows, her husband William, and granddaughter Tisha Ann Burrows, of Mattituck, NY; brother James Sobol of Villas, NJ; sisters Frances Tormey of Woodside, NY, Stella Wisnowski and Florence Crossnohere both of Villas, NJ, Margaret OLeary of Greenlawn, NY and Dorothy Maroszek of Venice, FL.
She was predeceased by her husband Leonard Beckner.
A Mass will be celebrated 10 AM, Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the VNA / Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
