Elsie Jean Strickland, 76 of Micco, FL died Friday, February 6, 2009 at her home in Micco.
She was born December 14, 1931 in Chicago, IL and was a resident of Micco since 1969 coming from Winchester, OH.
Mrs. Strickland had worked for Sebastian Golf Course and Patio Restaurant as a waitress.
Survivors include her daughter, Diana Donoho of Micco, FL; sons Clarence Alexander of FL, Dale Alexander of Platte City, MO; brothers Otho Pitner, Jr. Of Peru, IN, Donald Pitner of Kokomo, IN, Richard Pitner of Maryville, TN, Charles Pitner of Kokomo, IN; sisters Esther Roberts of Dalton, GA, Betthy Marshall of Sebastian, FL, Gladys Hannah of Port Orange, FL, Barbara Harris of Hamilton, OH, Judy Goforth of Dalton, GA, Brenda Moore of Kokomo, IN, Dorothy Bliss of Galveston, IN; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother James Printer.
Memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM, Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at United Church of Sebastian in Sebastian, FL.
