Ernest George Gerber, Jr., 60 of Sebastian, FL died January 5, 2009 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, FL.
Mr. Gerber was born January 25, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Sebastian in 1987 from birthplace.
He had worked for Press Journal for 22 years.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Gloria J. Gerber of Sebastian, FL; sons Ernest George Gerber, III. Of Vero Beach, FL, William J. Gerber of Sebastian, FL and Eric A. Gerber of Tampa, FL; brother Michael Gerber of Pittsburgh, PA; sister Dorothy Kauffman of Pittsburgh, PA; 2 granddaughter.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Kidney Foundation: 6110 Executive Blvd, Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852.
Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 10, 2009 at United Church in Sebastian, FL with a reception to follow at he family home.
