Ernest Dale Potter, 62, of Vero Beach, died peacefully Sunday, February 12th with his family by his side.

He was born to the late Ernest and Ann Potter on Feb. 17th, 1954 in Ironton, OH. After graduating High school he went into the Air Force and then went on to become a United States Postal Service Mail Carrier where he eventually retired.

Ernie met the love of his life in California, his wife Diane Potter, before moving and settling down in Ashland, KY with his wife and kids. They retired and moved to Vero Beach, FL where he spent the remainder of his life close to the beach.

He loved to travel and spend time with his family. He had an amazing heart and an unstoppable drive to make life better for both himself and his family.

Ernie is survived by his wife, Diane Potter of Vero Beach; his 4 children Angela Potter of Tampa Bay, FL; Eric Potter, Jennifer Farris, and Kayla Lockhart of Ashland, KY. He was also survived by 1 brother, 4 sisters, and 6 grandchildren.
