Ernestine S. Park, 88, of Vero Beach, FL died Monday, June 2, 2008 at Royal Palm Convalescent Center in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Park was born October 10, 1919 in Greenville, Madison County, FL and moved to Indian River County in 1926 from her birthplace prior to moving to Vero Beach in 1960.
She was a member of the Sebastian United Methodist Church and had been a secretary for Indian River County prior to her retirement. Mrs. Park was also a member of he Genealogical Society of Indian River County and the Sebastian American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her daughter Joan Valentine of Keystone Heights, FL, sister Teeny Mae Woods of Vero Beach, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wilson Park and a daughter Jacquelyne Curzon.
Services: The family will receive friends 4-7 PM Thursday, June 5, 2008 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A funeral service will begin at 11 AM, Friday, June 6, 2008 at the Sebastian United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Sebastian Cemetery.
