Estel Verlon Jones AKA John Jones, 84 died August 12, 2008 at Wuesthoff Medical Center Melbourne, Fl.
John was born May 1, 1924 in Sweetwater, Tn. and was beloved husband of Catherine Leone Jones.
He is survived by three daughters, Sherry (Doug) Morrell, Tina (John) Dys, Maryann McKain Busser. Grandsons, Timothy (Jill) Ploeg, Darrell (Deana) Ploeg, Justin (Melissa) Morrell, Daniel (Cristy) Busser, Ryan McKain Michael; a granddaughter, Addison Busser; and 8 great grandsons.
He was predeceased by sons, John Paul Jones and C.H. McKain, III.
John was a member of Knights of Columbus, Azan Shrine, VFW 8191, US Army retired 1st sergeant, Michigan National Guard, Ascension Thrift Store, Patrick Air Force Base Project Emeritus-Space Coast Highlanders.
A Prayer Service will be held at Davis-Seawinds Funeral Home Sunday, August 17, 2008 at
5:00 PM. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:30 AM Monday, August 18, 2008 at Ascension Catholic Church with a reception to follow.
