Esther Elizabeth Burns entered into eternal peace on September 15, 2016.

She was born to the late Theodore and Rosalie Lussier on March 16, 1923 in Lowell, MA. Esther married the love of her life, James Burns in 1952. Jim and Esther came to Vero Beach from Rockville Centre, NY in 1986. Esther was a devoted and loving mother and active member of St. Helen Catholic Church. They were often visited by their children and grandchildren. Jim and Esther loved to travel and enjoyed playing golf with their friends.

She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her husband, Jim and their children, Jim (Wendy) Burns, Richard (Kate) Burns, Patrice (Bill) Stapleton, Kevin (Kathy) Burns, Lisa (Ron) Trella and Laura (Kris) Nielsen. She also is survived by nineteen grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 18th from 3-5pm at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am, Monday, September 19th at St. Helen Catholic Church with burial immediately following at Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach.
