Esther S. Chase, 88 of Vero Beach, FL, died Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Royal Palm Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Chase was born October 19, 1920 in New Orleans, LA and had recently become a resident of Vero Beach, from Edgewater, FL.
She was a graduate of Simmons College and earned her MBA from Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. Prior to retirement she was the Acquisitions Librarian at Olin Library, Rollins College. She was an active member of the Friends of the Library, Edgewater, FL, for many years after her retirement.
Survivors include her son, Steven N. Chase of Waltham, MA; daughter, Mary Ellen Donahue of Vero Beach, FL; grandson, Richard N. Donahue of Vero Beach, FL; granddaughter, Karen A. Donahue of Newbury, NH; and great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn E. Donahue of Newbury, NH.

Services: A memorial service is being planned for September 26, 2009 at the Louisa Howard Chapel located in Lakeview Cemetery in Burlington, VT.
