Obituary

Ethel E. Bachmann, of Vero Beach, died February 9, 2011 at her home.
She was born in The Bronx, NY and lived in Vero Beach for 20 years coming from an overseas assignment with the Peace Corps.
She received her Masters degree in Library Science from Pace University, NY, where she worked for several years. More recently she was a law librarian at Martin County Correctional facilities. She also taught English as a Second Language. She did 2 tours with the Peace Corp where she served as a Librarian.
She was member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and belonged to the Indian River Photo Club, the Genealogy Club and the Computer Club of Vero Beach.
She is survived by her daughters, Christine Steinkrauss of Panama, Barbara du Pont of Vero Beach and son George Bachmann of Vero Beach. She was predeceased by her husband, George F. Bachmann and 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Cross Church on February 26, 2011 at 10:00am. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery following the Mass.
