Ethel Ruth Gordon, 89, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Ms. Gordon was born April 17, 1921 in Roselle Park, New Jersey and moved to Vero Beach 49 years ago from there.
She was member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Vero Beach and a Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her son, Matthew C. Gordon, Jr of Vero Beach and a sister, Elizabeth Walsh of Vero Beach FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mathew C. Gordon, Sr.
Services: The family will receive friends 7-9 pm, Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home, 1950 20th Street, Vero Beach, FL. A funeral service will be Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
