IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Eugene Edward
Kaiser
July 28, 1926 – March 2, 2023
Eugene Edward Kaiser, 96, of Ft. Pierce, Florida, passed from this life on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at the Treasure Coast Hospice Home in Ft. Pierce.
Born on July 28, 1926, in Deer Grove, Illinois, he was the son of the late Amil and Emma (Miller) Kaiser. One of six children, Eugene was the last to survive, and was preceded in death by his brothers, Lester, Paul, and Cecil Kaiser; and his sisters, Mina Alexander, and Helen Anderson.
Eugene was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served his country in the Korean War from 1951 until 1953. He was awarded the distinguished decoration, The Purple Heart, for his meritorious service.
He owned and operated his own Heating and Air Conditioning Business for 33 years, and was active throughout his life and retirement building homes.
He married his true love, Carol (Hanson) Kaiser, on October 5th, 1957. Throughout their 65 years of marriage together, Eugene enjoyed camping, traveling, and especially playing golf. Mostly, however, he loved his time spent with family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is the proud father of two surviving sons, Ray Kaiser, of Rock Falls, Illinois, and Steve Kaiser and his wife Mary of Jackson, Michigan; and one daughter, Lynn Hughes, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will gather for a prayer service at 10 am on Monday, March 13, 2023, at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, 1950 20th Street in Vero Beach. Military honors will be rendered by The Sebastian Area Veteran's Honor Guard.
In memory of Eugene, and in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to The Treasure Coast Hospice House of Ft. Pierce, Florida.
