Eugene Gerald Leppanen, 65, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. Leppanen was born December 18, 1942 in Ironwood, MI and moved to Vero Beach a year and a half ago from Ann Arbor, MI.
He was a graphic artist at the University of Michigan for 35 years. Mr. Leppanen was a graduate of Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years Sandy Leppanen of Vero Beach; daughter Teresa A. Ingle of Ypsilanti; two brothers Vern Leppanen of Minneapolis, MN and John Leppanen of Midland, MI; and a sister Helen Rogak of Vancouver Island, Victoria, Canada.
Services: The family will receive friends 2-5 PM, Sunday August 17, 2008 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
