Eva W. Dillon, 97, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the Place at Vero Beach in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Dillon was born July 11, 1911 in St. Johns, Newfoundland and lived most of her life in Brooklyn. NY until moving to Vero Beach.
She retired from Lerner Shops after 25 years of service.
Survivors include her children Marie Shirley Browne of California; James E. Dillon of California; and Patricia M. Gibbs of Vero Beach; sixteen grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild .
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Dillon and her children William F. Dillon, Joan Del Gaudio, Jane Fuller and grandson, Thomas Del Gaudio. She is the last survivor of her nine brothers and sisters.
Services: A funeral mass will be celebrated 10 AM, Monday, April 20, 2009 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
